Measurements

Measure from bottom of lower to the bottom of the triple tree for most accurate length. 3 to 4 inches of travel clearance is recommended.

Installation instructions

1. Remove old fork tube.
2. Inspect fork tube for any damage.
3. Lightly coat inside of fork lower and seal with fork oil.
4. Remove bottom bushing on inner fork tube. Bushings are pre installed so it will not be needed.
5. Carefully slide fork lower over inner fork tube making sure you do not damage the oil seal.
6. Tighten dampener bolt and crush washer to Harley Davidson torque spec.
7. Fill fork tube with 10.5 – 11.2 oz. of fork oil based on application. (We recommend type E or 15w.)
8. Enjoy.

Note: Fork lowers DO NOT extend the length of your front end. New extended inner fork tubes are required based on application. Stock axle will not work without modification. Custom axles and spacers sold below.
